connecting engine to hoist

I was wondering how to connect the engine to the hoist, I didn't buy a lift plate, I have a load leveler. So I need to connect the chains in four places, It looked like there was a hole in the top of each head that might make a good place, so I thought I could just buy some bolts and stick them in there to lift the engine. Will that work or is there a better way?
