Gas filter

I bought a new gas filter for my truck the other day and the filter was huge. It is very similar to the oil filter, just a screen that you drop into the cannister. I questioned the guy at Advance Auto because I knew that it wasn't the same as the one that's in my truck now, he said that according to his computer the one that they carried was the proper one.

Anyway, my question is, does anybody have an extra fuel filter cannister (if that's what it's called) lying around that they are willing to sell, or is that an item that you could easily get at a parts store? It's a 67 with a 327 motor.
