Question Power Steering Pump replacement tips?

Any tips on the best way to replace a power steering pump on a 72' 350 V8? It looks like it's very difficult to get to. Is it better to remove the hydraulic lines from the pump first or from the power steering box. I'm pretty new at this stuff so any tips would be appreciated.
