Huge bummer

I been doing everything I can the last few days on the Longhorn. A lot of spray bombs going off, but it is looking better than I figured.
Bummer though, I was removing the inner door panel on the passenfer door, and cought a glimps of all the light coming up through the door. Yup, the bottom is rusted out. I still have a blue one from my old lonhorn, but it has a bit of skin cancer too. Easier to repair though.
I guess the drivers side door may well be the only thing left original on the body come time to paint. (if ever) The cab and passenger door will be off of my old longhorn, the front fenders, core, grill and bumper will all be off the GMC, (hopefully I'll actually replace them before paint) The hood is off of some C/20 (71/72) The tailgate and cowl panels are both from the old Longhorn too, and the bed...well, I have my eyes on a bed kinda locally, (is 100 miles local?) either that, or one day make a run to Tx to go get my old one back.
I have the front clip just sitting on there, ready to pull off at a moments notice, I'll probably rip it off on Sunday and tow it to the coin op car wash down the street...more spray bombs...
Can't disable the engine too much, still need to fire it up to get it out the driveway, can't make the corners that sharp when using a tow bar.
Sorry, I'm ramblin...just bummed about that door. Dunno why...but I am.
Pics to follow to keep everyone updated on the progress.
