2 rockin trailing arm Suspension links and a question
Well on my quest for finding stronger trailing arms for my truck I happened upon a few links that completely rock.
The first is stock car products: http://www.stockcarproducts.com This site has 2 different arms available, both of which are under $200 each. The first one is a light weight design (18 lbs) and would be best suited for a coil over setup since it doesn't have a bolt hole for the stock springs. http://www.stockcarproducts.com/trkarm.htm The second and really the gem of this site is OEM trailing arms for $150 each!!!! http://www.stockcarproducts.com/closeout.htm SCP also stocks shims to adjust the pinion angle and also has mono ball kits for that hard launch crowd. The second site which was pointed out to me by SCP is: http://www.hotrodstohell.net/index.htm hot rods to hell is seemingly the only company converting cars to trailing arm suspension and to top that off they have come up with a few extremely interesting mods for our trucks as well. There kits are overtly expensive but fortunately there pictures are good enough to copy most of the bracketry and they sell everything as parts to top it all off. Most interesting is there screw jack setup that allows you to raise/lower your truck as well as the ability to adjust one side at a time so you have a straight launch. http://www.hotrodstohell.net/truckar...uckarm_c10.htm Enjoy and please add comments as I’m still trying to figure out if I want to stick to coil springs or go coil over. Thanks, OnDrew Last edited by roj2323; 01-03-2005 at 10:35 PM. |
