DANG! Another wonderful PO surprise... F&$^*$IN PO
It's really anytime I get into something, I find a 1/2 assed job.
Bad News- I keep finding stuff Good News- I keep fixing it, and making it RIGHT; things are running out... So, took the K5 to a good friend to get the front bumper mounts raised for the body lift. I already knew the rear axle was slightly off center, indicating a kingpin is worn or sheered. He pointed out that the front axle was also off a touch, and is probably in need of kingpins as well. No biggie... I am swapping springs and blocks soon. Unfortunately, we also discovered the passenger side of the frame up front by the spring mount is tweaked a bit. It's not major, but will need attention soon. It's gonna need to go to a frame shop and be pushed straight, and then have a support welded in place. On terms of severity, I would say 4-5 out of 10. What do you guys think some minor frame work with some minor strengthening would cost? A little surprise the PO made no mention about. On a side note, I think I am getting pretty close to no more surprises here...
