Post Best CARB ever and why?

What do most of you guys and gals run for a carburetor (what make that is)? I've been a Holley fan through and through but just got back from a car show and saw a d@mn lot of Edelbrocks. I like Holley for its easy-to-work-on nature but what's your preference and what differences have you noticed in the variety of carbs offered. Thanks for any and all info.

Also, I'm a 4x4 fanatic so something like an 850 street carb isn't ideal for me at all. What seem to work best at extreme angles and situations like that though? Right now I'm running a Holley 650 double-pumper that feeds the 409 well but tends to overflow if climbing a STEEP hill covered in bumps.
