T400 Tech. Question for Transmisson guru's
Hi there,
I had my 1972 T400 trans. rebuilt and I have ran into a small snag. When I purchased the truck it did not have the kickdown wiring harness. I managed to locate a factory harness for it through eBay. My question is... On the harness it has a 2 terminal plug for the pressure switch. However my transmission has a single terminal pressure switch. My service manual states that "On the two terminal plug one is the pressure term. and one is a detent terminal. It also says that on CM model it only has the detent terminal" I am thinking of replacing the plug on the harness because if the pressure switch was incorrect my transmission guy would most likely have found it to be incorrect. Can someone shed some light on this for me Thanx Curt
