Smile New old guy

Hi All
I have been lurking for about two months since I found this board and I
finally decided to join. I have seen a lot of questions I had some info on but
wasn't able to post so I can ask and answer now. I have a very nice 1967
stepside I bought from a good friend and it had a ticking noise in the engine
and he didn't want to fix it so he sold it to me and I found a flat lobe in the cam so I am going to replace the engine with a built 350 that I got in the deal.
It has a 700r4 tranny that has been beefed up but it leaks a tiny bit of fluid from the front seal so I wanted to fix that before I start driving her.
I don't want my first post to be too long so I will post more later. I like this board much better than any others I've found because there is no spam or porn or flaming allowed and the members all seem really decent.
