fuel pump suggestions

Hi I recently posted a thread on my truck running awful and discovered that the fuel pump was the culprit, I decided to upgrade to the "Holley blue" electric fuel pump and was wondering how connect the wiring. I was thinking of splicing into the "HOT" wire I have on the fuse panel for my H.E.I. I think the terminal was "unfused" will this work or should I go to another location? or place a toggle switch somewhere for theft detterant (sp.?)
