NP205 pics & advise needed

I need to make a decision on trans and T-case for BB 4x4 project. Many recommend getting 2 wheel drive T400, use my T350 205 trans case and buy Advanced adapter kit to mate and rebuild all and will be good to go.

My other option is to buy a seperate NP 205 case I am looking at and use with T400 or I still like idea of 700R4 if it will hold up. Burb is heavy and will haul and tow occassionly.

I want T-case with torque mount holes already, does anyone have good pics of differences in 205 t-cases?


One I'm looking at is tagged "MODEL 205 RATIO 196 SERIAL #10 11 76 ASSEM # 3987901" what is it?

I also have a line on a T400 adapter for T-case. Does anyone have a picture of one of these to? (figure 8 type)

AA kit is spendy too so I want to consider all my options. I want strongest and smoothest setup for best costs. (nothing new) Lots of variables.
