Post question about my 307

Hey guys, I'm only 18, and i know a 307 isnt the best engine in the world, but it was my grandpa's and it only has 73K on it, well i added the last 13K myself, anyways i know some performance parts of a 307 will trasnfer to a 350 in the future when my engine is shot, can anyone tell me what kind of intake manifold and carb will give my engine some more pep so 6 cylinders wont beat me , hehe,(yes it has happended numerous times).
