Belltech springs

I got some belltech lowering springs of my girlfriends 88 GMC Sierra, (Lill on the forum btw) That car is bagged now, so i wonder if they goes on my 80s truck? And how much can i cut away from them ?
My truck is lower in the back now (Belltech 4" drop) I just want the "cowboy" look for a few months before the flipkit, 3" drop spindles etc is here
The truck is missing one round of spring on the originals now..
Cowboy look= lower in front than back
