Gee_Emm I looked at the 18,000 mile truck today
Here are some pictures. I have bigger ones that I can email you. The present owners had a notebook from the original owner. It covered the first 15 years if I remember right. The notebook looked authentic, the ink looked really old and most days had a varying shade of ink. Things in the notebook included oil changes, carb rebuilds, installing of the aftermarket parts, and he actually had the bottom of the truck steam cleaned a few times.
The original owner had the fog lights and spot lights added when he bought the truck. He had cruise, air shocks, and a hitch installed. The hitch was welded on. The tires on the tuck appeared to be original. The mirror did not have the mounting pad on the cab, did 69's have that? The interior was brown. The AC vents were painted brown, as well as the front of the dash (between the dash pad and windshield). That brown paint did have the rough finish like original paint. A PO had stuck woodgrain on the ash tray but I think it would come off. The PO had installed airshocks in the rear. There was a box of extra parts which included air cleaners, an oil filter element, hoses, etc. There was some sort of mallory ignition box under the hood. The PO had carpet installed on the inside of the tailgate which matched the interior carpet. There was also carpet on the kick panels and the lower door panels. Most of the trim looked really good. The piece below the gas filler looked a little rough, like gas had been spilled on it. The current owner had the piece to replace it. This is getting to be a long post. PM me if you want more info. Shawn
