Great, more PO BS... Another in the long string I have found.

Finally got around to pulling the Carter AFB last night, first time since I have owned the Blazer that I gave the carb a closer look. Was told over and over it was a 9605, and since I figured that is the right carb for the motor, I went along with it.

Low and behold, it's a 9503... 500 CFM on a 350. Means I am out of airflow by 5,000 RPMS, not to mention to reduced airflow throughout the useable power band. I have been told and seen that you need at least 600CFM for a 350 to breathe decent. Especially with the Performer intake and headers...

Aw well, looks like I will go get an Edelbrock Performer 650 1405 today.
