Tilt colum adjustment.

I am putting a new turnsingal handle on my colum next week,it is from Ron Francis and has a push button on the end to replace my dimmer switch. My tilt is a little loose. How do I adjust/repair it while it is apart? It is a van colum.I am putting the dimmer on the colum because I am one-legged.Now that I ran new wires and relays to the headlights,I can't leave them on high.
