Am I spending to much money???....

O.K. yesterday I brought my 350 motor (completely taken apart) to be rebuilt. Anyway this guy who is rebuilding it wants 2,000 $$ for this to be done, Hot tanked ( get all grease and paint off motor), boring motor .030 over or 358 cubic inches, Compition Cam - Lifters, Roller Timing Chain, New Valves/Springs, Deck Block, Mill Heads, Degree Cam, Mild Porting, Clean up exhaust ports, New Pistons - Bearings ETC., Balanced, and Blueprinted. The only reson I ask is I could buy a crate motor for that much and I'm wondering is it worth it ???????
