rear drum question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

hope i dont get in trouble for posting this in two spots but there just isnt anyone over at the 60-66 board and im betting someone here can answer this question. my brother is chomping at the bit trying to figure this out.

he called me tonight and wanted to know how to take the rear drums off his 66 or maybe its a 65 long step. i think this is a half ton truck. he told me 4 guys were looking at it and none of them could figure it out. is there some trick to removing these?
