How about this...
I know a guy that used to own a Chrysler product. Remember your first Dodge is nobody's fault, your 2nd Dodge is your own damn fault. But I digress.

Anyways this guy bought the car new and always had a rattle. He had two or three dealerships look for it but nobody every found it.

He finally pulled the heater core. A piece of solder, too big to pass through, was knocking into the inner workings of the heater core. He dumped it out, reassembled it, rattle gone.
