gauge lighting

my gauge lights keep on blowing fuses and i cant figure out why? i took out the whole bezel and rest of stuff to get down to the lights twisted them a bit, put in a new fuse and they worked, so i put everything back together tested it and it blew a fuse!whats up with that? any suggestions?

and another question.... i have some aftermarket gauges that i want to hook up so that when i turn on my dash lights the other gauges will turn on to. how would i go about wiring them?

i also have problems with the front turn signals not workin sometimes. could it be lack of grounds? from workin on my truck ove noticed theres no chassis grounds...what could i use?how many?where should i put them?
