rearend swap

I would like to change the rearend in my 70 3/4t truck. It currently has an Eaton that only allows me 4.11 and 4.56.

I was wondering, would a rearend from a 60-66 3/4t work? I know that trailing arms and whatnot all look the same. I had a 65 1/2t at one time and it had a Spicer rear in it. While I am unsure of the ratio it had, it was lots better for the highway.

I know where there is a yard that has several 60-66 trucks, but unsure if any are 3/4t. But if I knew it would just bolt in I would be very interested in getting this done.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chad
