It Lives! Well, kinda.....

After yesterday's trouble with the HEI, I got out today and got another one. Stuck it in, wired it all up, eyeballed the timing, primed the carb, got in, turned the key, and........Vroooooommm!!!!!

Only problem now is the carb. It was a good one before, but not now. Gas coming out every crevice, inside and out. Shut down.

OH well, it was a glorius five seconds or so, first time the thing has had a running engine in twelve years.

Tomorrow, I dig out a Q jet and start rebuilding

Delays, delays......
