whats the value of a nv4500 4wd tranny?

Anyone got a typical idea of what a nv4500 tranny is worth from a 90's 4x4 Chev. And would a diesel one ( tranny) not work for our era? I think it should work as long as a 6.5 originally.
Lets say a value with clutch and flywheel and original bellhousing though it would be hydraulic style on opposite side necessary for a nv4500 swap like ryanroo.
And what is it with my reading use a dodge bellhousing... does it bolt up to the chev block and tranny? Or does it only just have the correct side port hole for manual clutch linkage?.
