Question stay stock or go custom look

Do you like the stock factory look or the custom street rod look? I guess it all matters on what you have to start with. Custom look seems a cheaper route to go, stock look seems like it could break the bank. These parts sure aint cheap. There seems to be different grades of replacement parts. From China to NOS parts.I want to have the stock look ,I just feel that if it isnt original equipment (NOS) that the restored truck might as well be made in China. My truck is a driver so I am buying the cheaper grade replacement parts. It seems to look good to others as I am redoing things, I just know it isnt the real McCoy.Will the value increase with cheap replacement parts? or would the value be just as equal going with a custom look?
