I have a 700R4 ready to be installed in my 69 C10, however I have a question and problem with the rear trany mount.
The PO installed the T350 in my truck, the rear trany cross member is of unknown origin. The rear mount cross member mounts only to the bottom of the frame, and has only one bolt into the trany. This cross member will not work with my 700R4, without some modification.
I have located a stock 69 auto rear cross member in a local wrecking yard. Will this stock rear trany cross member work with a 700R4 or do I need one of the after market mounts.
