No More Anchor Needed
Well between the humidity, bugs, fireants, and choirs "The Truck is running" again. I guess I should say stopping again. Been a long time since I messed with drums and redoing hoses and wheel cylinders.
My retiure Navy neighbor was glad to have his anchor back. I definitely don't need to through it out to get the beast to stop. It is real nicce to feel more than one brake work now. I don't know if I'll go the disk brake route anytime soon, but is their a junk yard fix to put power to my 70. I've been through most of the yards in my area and and 67-72's that I have found have been stripped raw (except for a 72 C30, but the guy wont let me "borrow" anything since that is his yard tow truck). It's been a while sine I have done this, but I rememeber 15 years ago puttin the power booster from a camaro on my 55 Chevy. Will something like that work here, and do you folks think it would actually help things with just the drums. Well for now , it's green, ugly and slow....but it moves (and stops)!!
