Seats

Looking for advice. I want to remove the stock bench and replace it. I saw many people using the seats from the 89-98 type 1500 series. They seem to fit bolt and widt wise, but it seems they are about 1" to 1 1/2" higher.

Since I am over 6', I am worried that I might be crammed in too much under the wheel.

Any suggestions on what to use as a substitute?

I found a real good setup from a 92 Chevy that will fit my future paint scheme and since I can operate a sewing maching worth a crap...nor can my wife or daughter, I don't think redoing the seat my self would be very easy.

Sure wish I knew where that wife is of a guy I worked with in the 70's...She redid sevel of my cars...

Thanks Bill
