steering wheel removal

Two questions:

1. How do I get the nut off that's behind the horn button? I tried with a socket wrench, but the wheel kept on spinning, which made it pretty tough.

2. What do I need in order to pull the steering wheel off. I have a harmonic balancer puller, will that work or do I need a steering wheel puller?
