Safety inspection question
I was told that I'd need to patch the holes on my cab corners to pass inspection, that fumes could get into the cab. I've never heard of this one. Anyone know if their state has the same situaiton? I ride with the window open quite often, so it seems like a pointless thing to me. In fact in the warm weather, I'll always ride with the windows down. I know, just find another inspector, which I'll probably do, but I'm just curious if anyone heard of this before? Yes, I know in VA I can register it as an antique and not have to have it inspected, in fact that's how it's registerd, but I find myself driving it more than I should with antique tags. My cop buddy says I might have a hard time explaining how I'm driving it for pleasure with a load of mulch in the bed, so I'm trying to avoid any trouble.
