Help With Da Horn~~~~

 Does anyone out there have a decent diagram or depiction of what the horn activation below the steering wheel should look like on a 72 c-1500?? the original owner had a custom steering wheel, and he hillbilly rigged the horn to work half the time. Any help is grealy appreciated. thanx
