1967 Camaro steering in a 70 GMC

I have a 1967 Camaro auto on the column and was wondering if this is a direct replacement for my 3 on the tree column? I'm going to swap to an auto and I'm trying to get all the info in order first. The only specs I've been able to locate is that both columns are 3/4" x 36" output shaft. Also does anyone know what the length of a one piece driveshaft would be for the same truck with a 350/350 auto and a 12 bolt leaf spring rear?

Thanks, Steve
