4" lowered question.

I have not ran my truck on the road yet since lowering it 4" front 6" rear. I did pull it out of the garage a couple of days ago, and the suspension seems very stiff. Is this Normal or did I buy too harsh of shocks. or does the spring rate of 2" drop get really stiff? ( I have 2 " spindles and 2" springs.) I don't remember the brand of springs or shocks, but the springs are Yellow if that helps. I bought them together from Tuckers In Vegas about three years ago..
