Rod on a C10 base

Hi guys ,

I was thinking for years to build a "hot rod" ( Ford '32 or something similar ) , but after having looked for a suited frame , I never did find one , or they were a lot of €€€...

And as I really don't want to have something like others have , I then tought about the old C-10 long bed frame I still have in one of my boxes...

Hmmmmmm ! that should be something different...

So , I'm now conceiving a rod , to be build on my frame , with the 131.5 inches wheelbase...

and as I always have loved those 1930's "Indy specials" racing cars , there is the drawing ( here under )

the construction of the structure should be in wood , like in the good old days , but with a polyester body , set on a wooden one , very lightweight...

I've maybe found an old BB ( Mark Iv ) Chevy engine , it should be a good base to put on it...

the drawing :

there also two pic's of what it should look like , but slightly larger in size

So Guys , am I nuts or am I nuts ???

greetz
