88 Lesabre Worse

Okay the buick got worse. I installed a new oxygen sensor because the car gave error code 13. After installing it I left the car running while I put up the tools and washed my hands. So about 5 minutes later I get in the car and its idling rough, I try to give it gas and it dies. Then it wont restart, but its trying. Whats weird is it always starts easy and runs really good, even if I drive it. Its when I stop and let it idle a bit that it seems to get hot or something and wants to quit. I tested the spark with a spark tester and its bright. I think its the fuel filter, but I dont know why it would run good when its cold or being driven. Can anyone please help me ? Ive got 1500 in this car and I need the money bad.
