Trac Bar bushings

Need to change trac bar bushings. Are they pressed in? How can you get them in without a press? I have heard of putting the bar in the oven & the bushings in the freezer, however I don't want my wife to catch me putting a trac bar in the oven. I do not have a torch to heat the bar.
