Longhorn back on the road

Between home repairs, & truck stuff, the old Chev is back on the pavement. That old booger is running a 400turbo (rebuilt at some unknown time), from a freebie parts truck. The old trans works decent, firm shifts, & will still bark some rubber on that 1-2 shift. the stock converter "challenges" the XE268 Comp idling in gear, but not bad enough for the 2 footed stoplite. she runs out good, but would like a little looser converter on the takeoff......should be a little easier on fuel than that 2800 stall TCI that I had on the last one tho (I hope!) I havent had the truck out on the open road yet, but I think she will do ok with the 3.40 gears on a 29" tire. L
