Please, I have been working on BBC for 15 years... 400hp out of a stock BBC is a joke, and that is just a cam change and decent carb in intake. They are built for TORQUE from the factory. It is the SAME engine that comes in every performance vehicle, the heads, intake and camshaft are different. Need some "readable truth"....

The stock computer is fine.... In the suburban. You are putting it in a 73-87 truck. There will be things you will want to removed unless you want a rolled up mess under the hood. Plus, there are things you will want turned off in the ECM that work with the ABS, torque controll etc... that the 73-87 won't have.

BTW, I sell and install STS Turbo kits on the 99-05's, so I know a little about computer problems and reprogramming. I am not talking about what I have read, and neither is Russell or N2TRUX.
