What does it take to make this work?

What work needs to be done (cutting, welding, relocating, etc) to get a 1973 or newer 12bolt rear end into a 1969 Chevy K5 Blazer? I know one shock mount needs to be relocated, but what else? BTW, this is for a leaf spring suspension.

I'm trying to determine if it's better to go with a '73+ rear end and have work done on it, or spend more time trying to located a correct 63' to 69' rear end. 73's and newer are a dime a dozen, but it's hard trying to find a drop-in rear end.

Anybody have any knowledge on this?

Thanks!
