Stumped!

I had a Holley 4150 on for 4 years that ran great. It replaced the carb that came with the truck. It also is a 4150 Holley But has duel feed and center
bowls. So I rebuilt it and put on but it needs tinkering with cause the idle
circut is not right and likes to flood.
So I put on a 78 Q jet which sets up quick and runs good but is old.

Do I buy a brand new carb to save the fuss and gasy oil on my block,
run the Qjet or get the rebuilt Holly that is given me a sore head my trys??
