Electric or Mechanical

OK, I'm in the market for a new speedo. I have all Pro-Comp gauges so far. The speedo is all I have left. The gears are off as it is. Should I go ahead and spend the extra $150 for the electrical set-up, or just go with the mechanical and change drive and driven speedo gears? Anyone that has the electrical speedo, what does the sender take to install? Also, what do you have to do to calibrate the electrical speedometer?
Thanks in advance.
