Gvrw / Gawr

I guess I would like someone's take on this. I have a 2000 4x4 1/2 ton Ext. cab w/5.3, 4.10 gears and tow packege. I have just purchased a 5th wheel camper that weighs around 7500 loaded. Of course the saleman said I was within the limitations of my truck and won't have any issuses pulling it. I recently weighed it at a local scale and here are my rating. These are number with the 5th wheel attatched.

Front GAW 3240 (GM's GAWR 3925)
Rear GAW 4020 (GM's GAWR 3750)
(GM's GVWR is 6400lbs)

This puts me 270lbs over my Rear GAWR and 860lbs over the GVWR for my truck. I can't find anywhere what the GCWR for my truck is. I am concerned about any long trips, am I going to burn up my rear axle with that extra weight on my truck?
