using an '85 305 block on my '67 Chevy
My '85 camaro was just totalled. The motor is still good. It had TPI for it's intake and an electric fuel pump in the tank.
I want to use this block to replace my flat camed/leaking/burning oil 283. The only questions I have are... will a mid 70's HEI distributor work on that camshaft... and what do I do about the fuel pump, since I don't believe the mechanical one is going to fit on the 305. Help?
