85 Blazer...Fuel injection

Well, I tried to shortcut a bit, and it looks like it is coming back to bite me in the ass...

I took the fuel hose from the gas tank...went into my external fuel pump, then ran from the fuel pump to the old metal line, from the metal line up to the fuel filter...etc.

looks like that is not going to hold the pressure (50lbs)...has any one else done this and have some suggestions?

oh ya, I didn't use compression fittings...I used the old screw type.
