Help! Looking for 700R4 Speedometer Gear Seal - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anyone know where I can buy the seal for the speedometer driven gear for a 700R4 transmission? The auto parts stores around here don't list them in their computers, and the Chevrolet dealership is telling me the only way to get the seal is to purchase a set of seals for the entire transmission for a whopping $130. Any ideas? This is the seal that presses into the end of the gear housing and is held in by a little snap-ring.
