64 Re-do in progress

Well, finally got started on redo-ing my 64 GMC. My son and I got the front fender assembly off with no problem.

We got the bed of yesterday.....with a lot of grinding and cutting off rusted bolts.....

The Cab comes off next, then the frame gets sandblasted.......

I am looking to put maybe a 350 or a 327 in the truck, with an auto tranny..
I have disc brakes to put on the front.....
A new rear end to put on...
Gas tank in the rear....

anyway, just learning as I go along........

If anyone has any helpful suggestions, or has learned from their mistakes, PLEASE......throw them my way

Having never done this before, this board is a great place to learn and ask questions.......

I will put the other photo's on when I get the chance..

Chad
