hey thanks for the pics, the pics on hills website is what actually inspired me to build one. perhaps you are right on the bags, im probably just gonna go for it. trucks a long ways anyways i wont be driving it anytime soon.

as far as the tailgate. it was a factory gate that was bowed out so bad in the middle that i didnt know what to do with it as it bowed so abd in the center and the gaps on the ends would not line right so i spent a good few hous beating the $hit out of it with a hammer and dolly and end up opting just to weld it shut. the center of the gate was beat so bad once i got it back straight that it was going to be almost impossible to correct so i cut the center section out (where the original tailgate handle was) and cut the drivers side piece off and moved it over to the center and wleded a flat piece of 18 gauge over the rest to give that frenched chevrolet name plate effect. i wasnt sure what it would turn out to look like but id say it didnt come out to shabby. saved an abused old tailgate from the junker. =)
