Having a fuel delivery problem

I noticed lately that I can't leave the truck running for very long while it's idling without it dying. It also dies if you give it to much throttle or try to take off from a dead stop. The truck sat for abut three weeks while I finished up the brake lines. I tried to take it to work on Friday but I couldn't get it out of the driveway (about 300 feet). I am running an Edelbrock 1406 or 1405 (the manual choke one) and a 350 auto.
