I've been thinkin' 'bout this too. Actually I'm thinking about planting some 4X4's in the ground next to the garage and doing a similar thing. The roll bar is a problem though. Maybe you could move the front upright foward to about the middle of the door and make it tall enough that you could put the 2X4 essentially through the window. It would support the top by the window frame. It might work
