Am I wrong in assuming?

If someone can explain to me the reasoning in this ebay listing, it would be appreciated. I am new to these trucks, so I may be completly in the wrong, but the seller states that the axles were 'swapped' on this 3/4ton 4x4 for the 6 lug versions to save on the purchase of wheels.....

Am I the only one who thinks this person is either full of or has no idea what he is talking about....and only has a 1/2 ton on his hands with possibly a c/20 cab swap??
