Thick or thin oil in a rebuild with 500 miles on it? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just found out my mechanic put 20/50 in it, I told him it was too thick and that might be part of the reason I've been having oil pressure problems, should I take it out and put 10/30 in, what do you guys think?
